NVD wins FVL High Performance Award at Automotive Logistics Awards – Europe 2018!
12 JUNE 2018: The winners of the first ever Automotive Logistics Awards – Europe have been revealed at a glittering black tie ceremony in Bonn, Germany. During the course of a spectacular evening, a total of 14 awards were handed out, recognising excellence and innovation in every aspect of inbound, outbound and aftermarket logistics.
NVD won the FVL High Performance Award for the Nissan dealer distribution optimisation project. The award focused specifically on companies that did the most to support on-time delivery and reduce customer lead times.
The judges were impressed by the project's clear objectives, including improving visibility, reducing errors and delivery times. They credited NVD as a forward-thinking company and pointed to how its whole system was constructed with the customer and innovation in mind. They said, "The project had significant benefits across multiple business flows."
The winners, selected after considerable evaluation by a distinguished judging panel comprising some of the most senior figures in the industry, took receipt of their prestigious awards at the event from former Opel, Fiat and BMW vehicle designer, Chris Bangle, before a packed house of all the leading lights in the European automotive logistics sector.
